For OpenAI ChatGPT Ads

Turn keywords and landing pages into context hints.

ChatGPT Ads does not bid on keywords; it matches ads to the situation described in a conversation. This tool rewrites the keyword lists and pages you already have into the hint text that auction expects, and exports them as an upload-ready CSV.

The shift

A keyword is a string. A context hint is a situation.

Search advertising matched the words someone typed. Conversational advertising matches the state someone is in: who they are, what they are trying to do, and the circumstances around it. Dropping an old keyword list into that auction gives it almost nothing to match on.

A good hint reads like a sentence describing a person mid-task. That is the shape this tool produces, and it scores each line on the three parts so you can see what is thin before you spend money on it.

How it works

Three steps, no onboarding

01

Paste keywords or a page

Drop a keyword list, upload a CSV or TXT export from your existing campaigns, or give us a landing page and we read its headings and description.

02

Review and edit

Each row shows the source topic, the generated hint, and a structure score split into audience, intent, and situation. Rewrite or regenerate anything that reads wrong.

03

Export the CSV

Download a file with the campaign, ad group, hint, bid strategy, budget, and score columns laid out for bulk upload. First three rows are free.

Who it is for

Performance marketers

You have thousands of proven keywords and a new channel that will not take them. Convert the list instead of writing it again by hand.

Agencies

Set up conversational targeting for a client from their landing pages alone, in the time it takes to read one briefing document.

In-house growth teams

Test the new format without a data project. Export, upload, measure, and keep the hints that perform.

Why ContextHints.ai

One job, done properly

Contextual advertising inside AI conversations is a new discipline, and most keyword tooling was never built for it. This tool does one narrow thing: turn the keywords and pages you already have into hint text shaped for the conversational auction, in a file you can upload.

Schema alignment

We follow the OpenAI Ads bulk-upload documentation and keep the export column set matched to it, so a spec change does not quietly break your upload.

Context-hint craft

Every hint is written around the three things the auction reads: who the person is, what they intend, and the situation they are in.

Editable before export

Nothing is a black box. Read each hint, rewrite anything that is off, then export. What you see in the table is exactly what lands in the file.

Hints are generated from our own pattern library today, not a live model, and ContextHints.ai is an independent tool with no affiliation to OpenAI.

Pricing

Priced for the hours it saves

Drafting audience-intent-situation hints by hand takes 3–4 hours per campaign, or an agency invoice. ContextHints.ai produces an editable, upload-ready CSV in under a minute — for roughly the cost of one coffee per campaign.

Questions

What is a context hint?

A short sentence describing the person and moment your ad should appear in, rather than the words they typed. Conversational ad auctions match on that description instead of on keywords.

Does the export work with the official bulk upload?

The file uses the campaign, ad group, hint, bid strategy, budget, and score column layout used by bulk ad uploads. The spec is young and can change, so we review the format on every release and you can edit the file before you upload it.

Where do the hints come from?

From our own pattern library, applied to your keywords or page text. They are not written by a live language model today. That is a deliberate choice for speed and predictability while the format settles.

Do you store my keywords?

No. Input is processed for the request and the results live in your browser until you leave the page. Nothing is saved to an account, because there are no accounts yet.

What does it cost?

The first three hints, editing, and their CSV are free with no sign-up. Larger exports are paid: a 19 dollar credit pack for 50 hints, 49 dollars a month for Professional, or 149 dollars a month for Agency. Payments are not switched on yet.

How often do you check the schema?

On every release, against OpenAI's published bulk-upload documentation. If a field changes, the export changes with it.
